Enhanced Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) for chronic conditions

Senior Minister of State for Health Edwin Tong announced the new CHAS Green, which will be available to all Singaporeans. It will provide up to $160 worth of annual subsidies for chronic conditions.

In addition, there will be an increase of up to $20 in annual subsidies for complex chronic conditions for CHAS Blue and Orange cardholders. This means that CHAS cardholders can now enjoy up to $500 in annual chronic subsidies.

SMS Tong was speaking in Parliament at the Committee of Supply Debates 2019 on 6 March 2019.
