In Parliament on 12 February 2019, Minister for Health Gan Kim Yong reiterated the basis of MOH’s decisions and actions on the issue of disclosure and announcement on the HIV data leak.
He said that the Ministry of Health will continue to manage the situation in a way that reduces the possibility of further exposure, a decision that is based on "the interest of the potentially affected persons".
