Reviewing the restriction on CPF use for older flats

Minister for National Development Lawrence Wong explained that the CPF rule for older flats is intended to ensure buyers who purchase these flats would have enough lease to last them for life. As it may seem inflexible, MND and MOM will study the issue and review the scheme.

Minister Wong was speaking in Parliament at the Committee of Supply Debates 2019 on 7 March 2019.
