Three-fold resilience to tackle climate change

Senior Minister of State (SMS) for the Environment and Water Resources Dr Amy Khor shared the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources' (MEWR) three-fold approach to tackle climate change.

First, climate resilience - by building up our knowledge of climate science and transforming our industries to pursue sustainability. Second, resource resilience - by closing resource loops and turning waste into resource. Third, economic resilience - by adopting a more circular supply chain, such as using recycled materials as raw materials.

SMS Amy Khor spoke in Parliament on 4 September 2019, during the Second Reading of the Resource Sustainability Bill.
